


Pastels with Chris Belton
Pastels are fun to use (although a bit messy) and give "instant gratification ".
Chris will show you different techniques and ways to "mark make", and although your work will be fun and colourful almost immediately, you can spend a long time working and perfecting it.
Materials for Pastels:
Soft Pastels - you can buy a set of colours or /and buy individual crayons.
A board to support paper
Pastel paper or rough (cold pressed) water colour paper
Masking tape
Kneadable Rubber
Blending tools
Fixative
Towels, to cover table, and for hands
