Centre Manager – Part-time | Community-focused | Varied, meaningful role | SCHADS Award

The Beaufort Street Community Centre is a welcoming, inclusive space offering classes, workshops, social activities, and community programs. Our small volunteer committee and dedicated members create a warm, supportive environment where people connect, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for an organised, friendly and proactive Centre Manager to run the day‑to‑day operations of our busy community centre. If you love helping people, keeping things running smoothly, and being the go‑to person in a welcoming local hub, this role is for you.

About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for members, teachers, and visitors while managing enrolments, communications, room bookings, financial admin, and general office operations. Every day is different — from supporting volunteers to coordinating classes and keeping our centre vibrant and organised.

Key Responsibilities
• Front‑of‑house support and member enquiries
• Enrolments, class lists, and membership records
• Room hire bookings and invoicing
• Committee meeting support (agendas, minutes, correspondence)
• Financial administration (payments, receipts, reconciliations)
• Website updates and social media posts
• Liaison with the City of Stirling for building and maintenance
• General office management and record keeping

What You’ll Bring
• Strong admin and organisational skills
• Confident communication and a warm, community‑focused approach
• Experience with office software and online platforms (Xero, Squarespace, Stripe ideal)
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
• Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
