About Kinesiology: Kinesiology is a natural healthcare system that combines current knowledge of western physiology and neurology with techniques used in ancient eastern energy medicine to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. The aim of a kinesiology balance is to identify and release blocks and imbalances within the body and mind that interfere with the body’s natural ability to heal.
At your first session: Sarah will gather information regarding your current issues and talk about your treatment goals, and will answer any questions you may have about this service. During treatment, you will lie, fully clothed, on a massage table and Sarah will use muscle monitoring and acupressure formatting – light pressure applied to the wrist while touching specific acupoints on the body – to find priority stressors, blocks and compensations in various anatomical structures and psychological function that might be disrupting the many feedback loops on your body and making it hard for your body to maintain a balanced equilibrium. It is a biofeedback therapy, a conversation with your body, where muscle monitoring allows the practitioner direct access to all systems of the body.
